Two Dhaka University (DU) students were beaten by the local people after they exploded crude bombs on the university premises on Monday morning. The students are Hasanur Rahman of Arabic Department, and Shahadat of Statistics Department of the university.
Rapid Action Battalion-13 Lalbagh camp constable Imran said, they chased the two students with locals in front of Jagannath Hall when they were trying to fled away after blasting cocktails.
Later, police recovered them and admitted them to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
