Miscreants set fire on a primary textbook-laden truck in Jamaldi Bus Stand area of Gojaria upazila early Monday.
The truck driver, identified as Harun-ur-Rashid, was also injured as he tried to get down from the vehicle after the truck caught fire due to the petrol bomb attack.Police said miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at the Laxmipur-bound truck early in the morning.
The driver was injured as he was getting down from the truck, he added.
Police also recovered three petrol bombs from the area.
Munshiganj superintendent of police Biplob Bijoy Talukder confirmed the incident.
